Limited Edition PrintS
Levi Robinson releases works through a structured limited edition model designed to preserve rarity, provide multiple entry points for collectors, and maintain long-term value across a body of work.
Each image is produced in a small number of fixed editions. Once an edition sells out, it is permanently closed and will not be reproduced.
Edition Types
Master Edition
The most rare expression of the work.
Typically produced as the largest format and may include hand embellishment or surface variation. This edition represents the primary price anchor for the image.
Collector Edition
A short, museum-quality edition intended for core collectors.
This edition forms the primary acquisition tier and is produced in a strictly limited quantity.
Field Edition
Select works also receive a Field Edition — a limited release that allows the work to circulate more broadly while remaining collectible.
Not all works include a Field Edition. Its inclusion is a curatorial decision based on the role of the image within a series.
Edition Sizes
Edition sizes are intentionally small.
A typical structure may include:
• Master Edition: edition of 1
• Collector Edition: short run (approximately 5–10)
• Field Edition (when produced): limited run (approximately 12–16)
Total print quantities per image remain low to preserve scarcity.
Release Structure
Editions are introduced in stages.
Master and Collector Editions are released first during an initial collector window.
Field Editions, when produced, are released later, extending access without competing with primary collector acquisition.
This staggered approach helps maintain hierarchy and supports long-term value.
Pricing Structure
Pricing reflects scarcity.
Prices increase as editions sell and availability decreases. Early acquisition provides the widest selection and best pricing within an edition.
Prices are never reduced within an active edition.
Curatorial Approach
Not every image circulates equally.
Some works are intentionally restricted to Master and Collector Editions only. This distinction helps establish hierarchy within a series and protects key works.
Field Editions are used selectively to allow broader distribution while maintaining edition integrity.
Archival Standards
All prints are produced using museum-quality giclée processes with archival pigment inks on acid-free materials. Each print is:
• Signed by the artist
• Numbered within the edition
• Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity
• Recorded in the studio archive
Edition Integrity
To protect collectors:
• Edition sizes are fixed at release
• No additional sizes are introduced later
• Sold-out editions are never reprinted
• Pricing only moves upward as scarcity increases
This structured approach ensures that each work can exist in multiple collections while preserving clarity, trust, and long-term collector value
